Just a few kilometres from the Durgapur bus stand, in Asansol, West Bengal stands a humble building. The building is identified by a dusty board which says, Maa Chandi Hindi High School. The entrance of the school is guarded by an iron gate which has an arched overhead board declaring the name of the school. A small opening in the gate provides you the passage into this temple of knowledge.
As soon as one enters, one is welcomed by an alley with classes on both its sides.
